Hi! I'm Kate St.Cyr. Hobby photographer, lover of everything food, and subsistence living. My husband and I recently purchased an antique 1779 colonial on 10.5 neglected acres in Massachusetts. We are working to clear the land and bring the farm back to its former glory while raising laying hens, meat chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, goats, and pigs with the help of our two dogs.
We are working hard to fulfill our subsistence living dream, by raising all of our own meat to cut out the grocery stores. I am also an avid gardener, and can anything and everything possible. To me one of the best feelings is looking at a well stocked pantry and multiple freezers full of homegrown, pastured raised meat.
I am also a contributing photographer and writer for publications such as GRIT Magazine, Countryside Magazine, and Backyard Poultry Magazine.
